This is a lovely hairline restoration for a female client who had recession of the hairline back into the apexes on either side of her forehead. A more feminine appearance is typically characterized by a rounded hairline. Recession in the apexes, as seen in this before picture, can give a more masculine quality to a female hairline, which is often undesirable.
Notice how perfectly the new hairline sits and curves gently around the face, framing it in a more feminine way. This lovely patient can now pull her hair back and feel much more confident.
The procedure was done using what we call an FUT strip technique, which is very popular among our female clients. It doesn’t require any shaving of the scalp and results in a small, very thin scar along the back of the head. When FUT is done properly, the scar is almost imperceptible, even to the patient’s hairdresser once it’s fully healed.
At Hair Transplants Melbourne, we take great care to ensure a good cosmetic outcome for all our patients. Precision in the FUT procedure is vital, not only to ensure that the transplant works well but also to make sure the FUT scar is minimal and imperceptible. This ensures that the patient’s hairstyle doesn’t need to change, either immediately after the transplant or in the future.
It’s important to note that individual results can vary. All medical procedures carry risks, and before proceeding, you should seek a second opinion from an appropriately qualified healthcare practitioner. Thanks for watching.
